Before the Nigeria Professional Football League 2013, Kaduna United FC signed striker Moses Odo (born 11.12.1993) from amateur club FC Internazionale Enugu. In January 2013, about two months before the league kicked off, Odo was named in the squad of the Flying Eagles, the Nigeria U-20 national football team. Unfortunately, Odo was not included in the final Nigeria U-20 squad for the 2013 African U-20 Championship.
On 21.03.2013, Odo scored his first goal for Kaduna United FC as the Crocodiles won 2-0 against Sharks FC. After the match, SuperSport named Odo in “The Predictor’s XI”, the team of the second round of Nigeria Professional Football League 2013. SuperSport wrote the following:
“Odo, who was dropped from the Nigerian Under-20 team before the 2013 African Youth Championship (AYC), was a menace to Sharks all through.
He scored one of the two goals and also saw two of his other efforts crash against the post of the Blue Angels.”
Odo is primarily a centre-forward. The official homepage of FC Internazionale Enugu has described Odo as follows:
“He is a very reliable strong attacker. Has dazzling runs that can destabilize any defense. Packs some powerful shots in both legs. Shares same qualities with his twin brother.”
The twin brother of Moses Odo is named Joshua Odo. As far as I know, Moses Odo and Joshua Odo joined Kaduna United FC at the same time.
The full name of Odo is “Tochukwu Moses Odo”. He is sometimes referred to as “Moses Odoh”. The picture of Kaduna United FC was found on nigerianpremierleague.com.ng.
